EuroFIR is a non-profit, member-based, international association established in 2009 to advocate for food information in Europe. EuroFIR offers independent brokerage of validated food composition data and supporting information for research and commercial purposes across Europe and beyond to improve data quality, data storage, and access for a range of applications and better re-use of food composition data. EuroFIR draws high-quality food information from more than 40 compiler organizations across Europe, US and Canada, Australia and New Zealand. EuroFIR is also an EIT Food Network Partner.
EUROFIR EuroFIR will contribute to Data4Food2030 by supporting communication and outreach, especially European SMEs, to ensure impact is maximized.
