ATB is a research institute in Northern Germany, supporting partners in application-oriented research with a focus on the business domains: agri-food, automotive, manufacturing and logistics. Topics like digitalisation, knowledge management as well as system analysis & design are basic pillars to perform research and realise user-focused innovations. ATB coordinates European funded research projects or leads work packages therein, closely collaborating with partners from all over Europe. As member of the FIWARE Foundation and the Big Data Value Association, ATB also contributes to mid- and long-term strategic research initiatives fostering competitiveness of regional and European organisations in a challenging global marketplace.

Short description of the
partner’s role in the project

ATB is leading the work package that coordinates the nine Data4Food2030 case studies on the data economy for food systems and is directly involved in a case study on real-time data exchange and aggregation in complex food networks. ATB will facilitate the collaboration of the case studies with the research on the data economy and the elicitation of stakeholder requirements.
